Authorities in Ross County are reporting a deadly shooting from early Tuesday morning.
According to the Ross County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to Witter Drive at around 5:30 a.m. in regard to a shooting.
At the scene, deputies found an unidentified black male laying in the driveway. The victim was taken by squad to Adena Regional Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.
An investigation is underway and the body of the deceased in now in the care of the Ross County Coroner’s Office for identification and autopsy.
No other details into the case have been made available at this time.
