Two area teams advanced Monday afternoon in the Division II high school baseball district semi-finals. Unioto surprised the state's top-ranked team in Division II, winning 6-to-1 at Miami Trace, handing the Panthers just their second loss of the season. Hillsboro also picked up a road win, taking a 2-to-nothing decision at Thornville Sheridan. This afternoon, Unioto and Hillsboro meet at the VA Memorial Stadium in Chillicothe for the district title, first pitch is at 5:00 P-M. The winner moves to the regional semi-finals next week.
