Ohio's parks are welcoming visitors this weekend under pre-pandemic operations. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources confirmed yesterday that parks statewide are lifting restrictions on group activities and re-opening nature centers, educational programming, and public tours. Masks are no longer mandated, but the ODNR recommends people who have not been vaccinated still wear facial coverings. ODNR Director Mary Mertz says last year, at the peak of the pandemic, Ohio's parks recorded record numbers of visitors.
