Liquor sales in Ohio

Liquor store retailers across Ohio say the Buckeye state could soon see purchasing limits on some types of alcohol due to supply issues. On Monday, retailers said Ohio could see the same type of two-bottles per day restrictions put in place last week by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. According to state statistics, Ohio liquor stores and restaurants are not meeting the demand for tequila and scotch because import suppliers cannot ship enough products. Some retailers warned of price increases on non-domestic liquors and wines, which may be put in place to slow demand and increase supply.
