A Circleville man was taken to a Columbus hospital early Tuesday morning after he was stuck by a vehicle along US 23 northbound, just south of old Huston Street in Circleville.
The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office reports that Richard L. Dean, 23, of Circleville, was transported to Grant Medical Center after he was stuck by what is described as a unknown dark-colored, possibly four-door, truck as he was walking along US 23 north.
The unknown driver left the scene.
The accident was reported shortly before 3:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. When Deputies arrived on scene, they found Dean laying in a ditch.
The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office is encouraging anyone with information on the incident to give them a call.
