The Ross County Pioneer Center Administration Office, located at 167 West Main Street in Chillicothe, will be closed until Monday, October 18th. Community Outreach Director Courtney Lewis says the closure is due to an increased number of COVID cases within the Admin Office.
The Pioneer School itself remains open.
In a release on Tuesday, Lewis said, office staff will be working remotely while the office is closed and that the office phone lines will be checked frequently. If anyone should need assistance, they will be able to leave a voicemail and a staff member will return the call.
Along with the closing of the Pioneer Center Administration Office, the October meeting of the Ross County Board of Developmental Disabilities has been postponed. A new date for the meeting has yet to be announced.
