(Columbus) -- The National Retail Federation is releasing a list of the most popular Valentine's Day candy in each state. NRF researchers used sales data collected over the past 14-years from nationwide retailers and Candy-Store-dot-com to determine the most sought-after candy for all 50 states.
In Ohio, the traditional heart-shaped box of chocolates came in first, followed by Cupid Corn and Conversation Hearts.
The NRF expects consumer spending on Valentine's Day this year to reach almost 24-billion-dollars, a nearly ten-percent increase over 2021's holiday.
