One person is dead as the result of a Monday morning house fire in Chillicothe. Police have identifed the victim as 75-year-old Patricia Brown. Crews were called to the scene at 268 South Hickory Street around 9:00 yesterday morning on the report of a fire. The Chillicothe Gazette reports that Brown's family says she had lived in the house for over 50 years. No cause has been determined yet in the fire, which is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s Office, the Chillicothe Police Detective Division and the Chillicothe Fire Department.
