A Ross County man is in behind bars, after his arrest in Vinton County. On Tuesday, Detectives and members of the Vinton County Special Response Team conducted a Search Warrant at a residence on State Route 671 after an investigation into stolen property and drug activity. 45-year-old Jimmy Murphy of Londonderry was taken into custody following the investigation, which resulted in firearms, narcotics, drug paraphernalia, money, and stolen property being seized. Charges against Murphy are expected to be filed with the Vinton County Prosecutor’s Office.
