Today is Ohio's special primary election. Races for Ohio legislature and central committee offices, as well as local measures, are appearing on ballots across the state. The positions and issues could not be included in the normal May primary due to legal challenges to Ohio legislative district maps. Secretary of State Frank LaRose says around 20-million dollars in funding has been distributed to county election offices to help cover additional costs.
