A former Washington C.H. police officer has been sentenced to 12 to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to the rape of a 13-year-old boy.
68-year David Brown entered a plea of guilty to two counts of first-degree felony rape as part of a plea agreement with the Fayette County Prosecutor’s Office. The state dismissed one count of rape and two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
According to a grand jury indictment, the sexual conduct occurred between February 1st and 28th, and on May 29. The crimes occurred at Brown’s residence, and with a child Brown was caring for.
Brown was a police officer with the Washington C.H. Police Department in the early 1980s.
