A well-known educator from the Chillicothe area has passed away.
Ethel Ann “Skip” Hathaway passed away last Thursday, December 29th at the age of 92 following an extended illness.
Hathaway was perhaps best known as an art teacher to countless children in the Chillicothe area having worked for Bishop Flaget. Over the years, she also owned several art studios in Chillicothe.
Funeral services are being handled by Ware Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held this Thursday, January 5th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ware Funeral Home.
The funeral mass for Hathaway will be held at 11:00 a.m. this Friday, January 6th at Chillicothe’s St. Mary Catholic Church.
