With a moist and unstable airmass combining with an approaching cold front, showers and thunderstorms are expected across the region today and tonight....some of those storms could be severe, so the National Weather Service has put our part of the state in the "enhanced risk' category for severe storms. Any of the thunderstorms that move through could be accompanied by winds as high as 40 miles an hour.
