The Chillicothe Garden Club meets Monday to consider the art and influence of Mary Cooper.
They’ll start 10:30am at the home of Priscilla Steel, to look at some of the Chillicothe artist’s wildflower paintings.
Then they will regroup about 12:15 at the Bristol Village restaurant in Waverly for lunch, and then view "Cooper Wildflower Woods" and a garden railroad in the retirement community where Cooper died in 2014.
Call Priscilla Steel for details and to make reservations at 740 / 774-2708.
The May 8th meeting of the Chillicothe Garden Club will be at the Amish farm market and garden center on State Route 41 south of Bainbridge. The June meeting will be a brown-bag lunch at a member’s home.
