The Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife is announcing this year's free fishing dates.
The annual event allows for those who want to fish at any of Ohio's public waters to fish for free, without a license. This includes fishing in the Ohio River and Lake Erie.
The free fishing event is set for June 17th and 18th. Other fishing regulations still apply on the days, including size requirements and bag limits.
