An ATV crash at a family resort in Scioto County has claimed the life of a 13-year-old boy.
According to Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman, the crash was reported shortly before 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 10th at Big Bear Lake in Lucasville.
The Scioto County Sheriff’s Office says the victim has been identified as Kash Barnes, 13, of Laurelville.
In a release on Monday, June 12th, Sheriff Thoroughman said a witness riding the trails at Big Bear Lake had come upon the scene of the crash and found the crashed ATV on top of the victim.
