A Hillsboro man was killed in a two-vehicle crash along US 50 in Ross County, Friday.
According to the State Patrol, Robert O. Pegan, 65, of Hillsboro, succumbed to injuries sustained when his westbound Harley Davidson motorcycle collided head-on with an eastbound Chevy Avalanche that was making a turn from Rapid Forge Road onto US Route 50 shortly before 10:00 p.m. Friday, June 30th.
The driver of the Avalanche, a 59-year-old Chillicothe man, sustained only minor injuries.
Funeral services for Robert O. Pegan will take place at 1pm this Thursday, July 6th at Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
