A Chillicothe man was indicted by Friday's session of the Ross County Grand Jury on two charges after allegedly assaulting a woman in his car.
The prosecutor's office says the incident took place July 14th after a female victim told authorities that she went to ask a former friend, 57 year old Clyde Hall Jr. of Cutright Drive, if he could give her some money to help her pay a utility bill. Cutright told the victim her would, and said they wouuld have to drive to an ATM to get the money. The victim alleges that after Hall gave her the cash, he told her "Nothing comes for free". She claims Hall then sexuallly assaulted her in his car. After she protested, Hall drove back to his home where the victim jumped out of the call and called police.
Hall was indicted on one count of Felony Rape and one county of Felony Attempted Rape.
The case was one of 11 returned by Friday's session of the Ross County Grand Jury, and the only open case.
