U.S. 23 in northern Ross County was shut down Tuesday morning due to a semi-tanker truck fire.
The vehicle was engulfed in flame about one mile south of the Ross/Pickaway County line near Blackwater Road.
The incident took place sometime around 9:00 a.m. and caused all four lanes of U.S. 23 to close for about an hour-and-a-half while emergency personnel worked to put out the fire.
The affected area has since reopened to normal traffic.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
