Suspect Arrested in Death of OSU Student Reagan Tokes

A suspect in the murder of an Ohio State University student has been taken into custody.

Grove City Police have arrested 29-year-old Brian Lee Golsby in the shooting death of 21-year-old Reagan Tokes.

Tokes’ body was discovered in Scioto Grove Metro Park Thursday afternoon. Police say she appeared to have died from gunshot wounds to the head. 

Golsby was taken into custody around 4:00 a.m. Saturday as his Forest Street home. He is accused of kidnapping Tokes and forcing her to withdraw cash from her bank account via an ATM. He is then said to have taken Tokes to the park where he is alleged to have shot and killed her. 

Golsby is a registered sex offender in Franklin County. He finished a six year prison sentence for Rape and Kidnapping in November of 2016. He has been charged with Aggravated Murder, Aggravated Kidnapping and Aggravated robbery. His arraignment is scheduled for Monday at 9:00 a.m.
