Paint Valley ADAMH Website Has New Look

(PV-ADAMH, Chillicothe) -- The Paint Valley Alcohol, Drug Abuse and Mental Health Board wants to be sure that everyone can find help and get connected to behavioral health services close to home.

The Paint Valley ADAMH Board wants to be sure that everyone can find help and get connected to behavioral health services close to home. The new website is interactive, easy to navigate and reactive with any device being used to view the website. Recovery, Prevention and Finding Help are the three main focus areas to assist with locating resources quickly.

“Our goal with redesigning the website is to provide our communities an easier way to get the help or find information they need. The new website allows for increased communication and will be constantly updated with helpful information. The new blog feature assists in keeping information current and our communities informed via newsletters, and Board announcements” stated PVADAMH Associate Director, Penny Dehner.

The website has a new look, but the www.pvadamh.org address remains the same.

One new feature the site contains is an interactive calendar to find activities and meetings for the Board, Prevention Coalitions and Support Group meetings. These calendars include information about the meeting organizers, as well as an interactive map showing the meeting location.

The Paint Valley ADAMH Board understands the importance of communicating with residents and began publishing a quarterly newsletter on January 31, 2017. This newsletter explains their fifty year history and provides a short synopsis of services provided to the community. The newsletter will continue to be distributed by email, but will always be available to view on the new website.

The Paint Valley ADAMH Board has been providing help and offering hope for the residents of Fayette, Highland, Pickaway, Pike and Ross Counties for 50 years. For more information contact them at 740-773-2283 or visit the website at www.pvadamh.org.
