The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a one vehicle crash that occurred on State Route 124, in Pike County.
40-year-old Gary Gibson, of Waverly, was traveling westbound when his 2002 Chevy Cavalier went off of the left side of the road striking a tree. Mr. Gibson and his passenger, 31-year-old Angula Sanders, of Hillsboro, were trapped inside the vehicle and had to be removed by Benton Twp. EMS.
Both occupants were transported to Adena Pike Medical Center and then transported to OSU Medical Center in critical condition. Pike County EMS and Ross County Sheriff’s Office assistance on scene. The crash is still under investigation.
