The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce recently recognized Summers Funeral Home at 223 W. Market Street in Washington CH for being in business 25 years.
The funeral home has been at the same location for 25 years, although there have been two additions to the building. At first, the business was run solely by husband & wife team Terry & Terri Summers. Now there are ten people that work at Summers.
“Our daughters are both involved in the business which makes it a true first generation family owned and operated the business within our community. Our mission was and still is, to provide thoughtful, caring service to every family that calls upon us,” said Teri Summers.
“It is our pleasure to recognize Summers Funeral Home, and the Summers family, for this accomplishment,” said Chamber Director, Whitney Gentry.
The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization with 300 local business members. For more information about the Chamber how to join, contact the chamber office at 740-335-0761 or visit www.fayettecountyohio.com
