A Chillicothe High School student has been extended an offer of appointment to the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
Terrill Seth Barnes is a senior at Chillicothe High School, where he serves as the captain of the football and basketball teams. He is also a member of the National Honor Society.
Barnes was nominated to the Academy by U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH).
