The Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce presented their awards Tuesday evening.
Kevin Ross is the "Entrepreneur of the Year." Like most entrepreneurs, he says he started small - selling antiques at age 12 - but now has many businesses.
Best known as the owner of Triple Crown Family Fun Center, Cardo's Pizza, the Lake White Club, and the renovator of the old First National Bank building on West Second Street - Ross said he was honored and surprised by the highest award from the Chamber.
The recipient of the "Legacy Award" is Globe Furniture...of "Corporate Citizenship" is Kennworth Trucks...and "Young Professional of the Year" is financial advisor Seth Ash.
The keynote address for the annual banquet was by Marti MacGibbon, who touched on local concerns of drug abuse and sex trafficking, with her personal experience in them.
She said, "Adversity introduces us to our authentic selves."
