The Ohio Department of Transportation is considering changes to an intersection north of Chillicothe after two serious crashes last week.
On Monday, a 20-year-old Lucasville man was seriously injured when he was trying to turn onto U.S. 23 from Crouse Chapel Road.
On Tuesday, a 48-year-old Newark woman died in a similar accident at the same intersection.
A state official says ODOT is considering possible changes at the intersection, and hopes to have a public meeting on the issue in two to three weeks.
