Meals on Wheels is reporting a surge in donations since the White House released their proposed budget that would cut funding to the organization.
The group has received more than 100,000 dollars in donations in the two days after the budget blueprint was announced. The organization says it usually gets about a thousand dollars a day in unsolicited donations.
Meals on Wheels is a network of more than five thousand local programs that provides home-delivered meals to seniors nationwide.
