A two-vehicle crash on State Route 159 claimed the life of a Chillicothe woman, Wednesday.
According to the Ohio State Patrol, Donald Nichols, 56, of Jackson, was traveling south on 159 shortly before 8:00 a.m. when he was rear-ended by a southbound vehicle operated by Amanda Fooce, 35, of Chillicothe, while attempting a right-hand turn onto Hopetown Road.
Fooce was found non-responsive inside her vehicle and was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center where she pronounced deceased. The Patrol says Fooce was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
