Columbus Police Seek Help In Identifying Legs

Columbus Police are hoping a pair of boots will help them identify the owner of the sawed-off legs that were found in a South Side trash container Tuesday.

The legs were found by a worker at Local Waste Services, sticking out of containers that were collected from the Northwest Side.

Detectives tell the "Columbus Dispatch" that the race and age of the victim cannot be determined because of decomposition.  The legs were wearing ladies boots, but police are not positive that the victim is female.

The victim was wearing size-ten ladies JustFab boots, brown with fur lining.
