(Waverly) -- Adena Health System announces today that it has added Family Health Care at Bristol Village to its primary care network. The clinic will now operate under the name Adena Family Medicine - Bristol Village.
Located at 621 E. 5th Street, Waverly, Adena Family Medicine physician David R. Kessler, MD and Certified Nurse Practitioner Heather Howard will be seeing patients at the new location.
“We are very excited to welcome Bristol Village into Adena Health System,” said Dr. John Fortney, Adena’s Interim President and CEO. “This acquisition supports Adena’s strategy to expand primary care access throughout our region.”
Adena Family Medicine - Bristol Village will offer comprehensive care for every member of the family, from newborns to great grandparents. The facility will offer a full array of primary care services including: well-baby/child check-ups; back-to-school and sports physicals; yearly wellness exams; immunizations; chronic disease management, such as diabetes, arthritis and cardiovascular conditions; care for acute conditions, such as sports injuries, flu and strep throat; and screenings, including blood pressure, cholesterol, hypertension and more.
Adena System Director of Primary Care Brooke Burns added, “Patients visiting Adena Family Medicine - Bristol Village will now have the benefits of shared electronic medical records, including Lab and X-ray results, as well as the advantages of being more closely aligned with nearby Adena Pike Medical Center and Adena Health Center -Waverly. Patients will also have direct access to Adena’s ancillary and specialty services that are offered at these facilities.”
Hours of operation for Adena Family Medicine - Bristol Village will be: Monday 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Tuesday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.; and Wednesday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
