Chillicothe and Southeastern High Schools will be conducting Mock Crashes Thursday morning to raise awareness of the dangers of impaired and distracted driving ahead of their school proms.
The crash scenarios will take place either on or near each school's campus around 9:00 a.m. or later.
Chillicothe's mock crash will take place at the intersection of Yoctangee Parkway and North Street at the entrance to the high school gymnasium. The intersection will be closed to traffic while the crash scenario is taking place.
Southeastern's will take place in the high school parking lot.
Emergency vehicles will be on hand for each event.
