With the centennial observance of Camp Sherman approaching in July, a regional preservation group is highlighting one interpreter of it Sunday afternoon.
Dick Rutherford has used film and photos from the time of the World War I army training camp north of Chillicothe to create a 22-minute modern video of Camp Sherman. He'll speak about his effort to SCOPS, the South Central Ohio Preservation Society, 2pm April 30th in the Adena Mansion & Gardens Education Center.
SCOPS meetings are free and open to the public.
An $8 reduced tour of Adena mansion will be available for meeting attendees.
