The Ross County Park District will be hosting a free family nature program at the Buzzards Roost Nature Preserve beginning Saturday, May 6th.
Outdoor Educator Myranda Vance will be leading the program, geared toward children 4 to 12 years of age, followed by creative play for kids in the newly constructed natural playground called the Kids Nature Zone, or KNZ for short.
The first gathering, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on May 6th, will include a weenie roast as well as games and prizes, and s'mores around the camp fire.
Following the May 6th event, the program will then take place every Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. through September 30th.
