Dayton Mayor, Nan Whaley, is running for Governor. Whaley announced yesterday plans to run for the Democratic nomination. She joins a crowded field including former Congresswoman, Betty Sutton, ex-State Representative, Connie Pillich, and current State Senator, Joe Schiavoni, who have all announced intentions to run in 2018.
For the Republicans, Ohio Secretary of State, Jon Husted, and Congressman, Jim Renacci are in the race with Ohio Attorney General, Mike DeWine, and Lieutenant Governor, Mary Taylor, expected to jump in.
