A South Salem woman and a child were taken to Columbus hospitals after a head on crash on U.S. Route 50 in Ross County, Tuesday.
The Highway Patrol says Shelly Jensen-Keaton of South Salem was traveling eastbound on U.S. 50 just before noon yesterday when she was struck head-on by a westbound vehicle operated by Margaret Fearnow of Chillicothe.
Jensen-Keaton was transported in stable condition by Med-Flight to Grant Medical Center in Columbus. A juvenile passenger was riding with Jensen-Keaton and was taken to Adena and then later to Nationwide Children’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Fearnow was taken to Adena with non-life threatening injuries.
The Highway Patrol says the crash remains under investigation but it appears Fearnow's vehicle went left of center.
