As summer kicks off and families hit the road for vacations, Ross County Safe Communities and Adena are reminding motorists to Click It or Ticket. In hopes of saving lives through increased seat belt use, the national seat belt campaign will take place May 22nd through June 4th.
A Click It or Ticket kickoff event will take place on Friday, May 26th at the Yoctangee Park Entrance at Paint and Water during the Feast of the Flowering Moon.
Ross County Safe Communities will be set up throughout the day. They'll be awarding prizes and other promotional items. The Ohio State Highway Patrol will be in attendance from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to discuss the importance of seat belt and motorcycle safety. Attendees will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a $25 gas card.
