An Adams County man was transported to a Columbus hospital Tuesday following a single-vehicle crash on Lapperell Road in Pike County.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says Charles Harris, 50, of Peebles, was traveling south on Lapperell around 10:45 p.m. when his car veered off the left side of the road where it collided with two culverts, a large rock, and a mailbox before overturning and striking an embankment.
Paint Creek EMS took Harris to a staging area at Western High School where he was then airlifted to OSU Medical Center.
