The the annual "Rendezvous at the Rock" is this Saturday at the "Leo Petroglyphs" park in Jackson County.
From 11 to 4 there will be atlatl instruction and contests, Native American culture, everything about flint, exhibits on Jackson county history and prehistory...and food.
It's also a great opportunity to check out the thousand-year-old prehistoric rock carvings.
The park is 14 miles southeast of Richmond Dale, near Sour Run Road about 3 miles off US 35. Follow the park signs.
Admission is free. The event is weather-dependent, so check the radar before you go.
