It was announced at Council Monday evening that the city will do more than just not charge for permits during the "Community Yard Sale" June 2nd through the 4th.
City Auditor Krystal Spetnagel will help with your yard sale that weekend. Her office has set up an event page on the city's Facebook page. She says you can add information about your yard sale to it.
If you're not web savvy, you can also email details to the auditor's office, or even just stop in with a written list.
Spetnagel says there will also be a hard copy of the "Treasures Map" guide available from the water department and other locations downtown starting June 1st.
And then the city will start bulk item pickup afterward...for those treasures that didn't sell.
Chillicothe Council also approved the $175 million bond package for Adena Health System, which officials say has no risk for the city but great potential for the hospital.
