Traffic Jams Anticipated During Polaris IKEA Opening

Major traffic tie-ups could follow the opening of the new IKEA store in Columbus.

Police say they're planning to close several I-71 exit ramps next month when the Swedish home furnishings retailer opens in the Polaris area. Ramp closings would be conducted on a temporary basis like those in place after Ohio State University football games.

IKEA is expecting 15-thousand customers a day during its first week in business.
