Kingston Woman Injured in Crash Along State Route 28

A Kingston woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries following a two-vehicle crash on State Route 28 in Ross County, Wednesday.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Shelly Hill, 38, of Kingston, was traveling west on the route shortly before 9:00 a.m. when she was struck by a vehicle operated by Kay Rinehart, 58, of Chillicothe at the route's intersection with Maple Grove Road. Rinehart had been traveling north on Maple Grove.

Hill was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center by Twin Twp EMS. The crash remains under investigation.
