At a recent ribbon cutting ceremony, the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors welcomed Rustique Formals to the Fayette County business community.
Owner Mandy Franks, offers consignment formal dresses, shoes, purses, formal accessories and consignment wedding decor. She also can do custom made bouquets, wedding decor, t-shirts, stickers, and thermos mugs.
Franks wanted to give brides a chance to recoup some of the money from wedding day expenses, and at the same time, help future brides save money.
“Understanding the need from the community, most families are on a budget when shopping for a dress. Seeing many women attempt to sell dresses online with no luck, I decided to open the store and which allows me to sell them for these brides. I, like most women, have had my dress hidden away in the closet taking up space for many years. It was finally time to drag it out and try to get rid of it. I just want to provide girls an opportunity to own a beautiful dress at a cheaper price," said Franks.
The store, located at 147 E. Court Street, offers a rustic appearance but also offers a touch of glamour with the glitter floor and silver ceiling. Franks feels her selection of dresses are beautiful and are a cheaper option for most brides.
Rustique Formals is currently open Saturday only from 10 am to 4 pm but appointments can me made for other times by contacting Franks at 937-360-5788.
