With "medical marijuana" developing in Ohio, Circleville Council struggled with its ramifications Tuesday evening.
Judicial chair Julie Strawser was a little overwhelmed by the recent assignment to her committee: prohibiting licenses for it in town.
She heard speakers with strong feeling on both sides, but in the end, Strawser moved to table the prohibition. But, she says the conversation will have to continue - maybe in July, but certainly by September.
They were considering the opt-out language the state allows.
There was some opinion that a small town like Circleville might not even be selected as dispensary...so this all could be moot.
