Michele Lanman, Executive Director of the United Way of Pickaway County, is resigning her position July 1st after serving the organization for 15 years.
The Board of Directors of the UWPC accepted Lanman’s resignation at a special meeting on Monday, June 19th, and began planning to search for another executive director.
“For the last 15 years, I dedicated my talents and experience to the United Way of Pickaway County and its mission of uniting resources and making our community better,” Lanman stated in a letter of resignation. “The organization made great strides in achieving this mission, evolving from a role solely as a funder to one that truly became a community partner and collaborator. “Going forward, I wish only the best for the United Way of Pickaway County, its board, and its partners as you all accomplish great things for our community,”
Lanman concluded, adding she plans “to explore other options and opportunities.”
UWPC Board President Jama Cobb thanked Lanman for her years of service to the United Way of Pickaway County.
“On behalf of the board, I want to thank Michele for her years of dedicated service to this great community,” said Cobb. “Michele loves Pickaway County, and that was evident in everything she accomplished in her role.”
