Ida Post 514 from Michigan won their second Jim Jadwin Memorial Tournament Championship on Sunday with a 2-1 victory over Sidney Post 217.
Ida advanced to the tournament final at Chillicothe's VA Memorial Stadium with an 8-7 win over Adrian Post 275 in the semifinal round. Sidney advanced to the championship game by routing Ashland KY Post 76, 14-6.
Ida is now a two-time Jadwin Tournament champion having won the tournament in 2014 as well.
The 6th annual tournament kicked off Thursday, June 22nd. It included 15 American Legion teams competing in 33 different games at five different locations in Ross County.
