Though the 4th of July isn't until Tuesday, many communities in the south-central Ohio area will begin celebrations this weekend.
On Saturday night, Pickaway County celebrates with a 10:00 p.m. fireworks display at the Pickaway County Fairgrounds in Circleville. Fireworks also go off at 10:00 p.m. at Rocky Fork State Park in Highland County.
Hillsboro in Highland County holds its show at dusk on Sunday, July 2nd at the Highland County Fairgrounds.
On Monday, July 3rd, Fire in the Sky takes place at 10:00 p.m. at the fairgrounds in Washington CH with Columbus holding its annual Red, White, and Boom.
On Tuesday, July 4th, displays will take place at Yoctangee Park in Chillicothe at 10:00 p.m., Piketon's Piketon High School at dusk, the Hocking County Fairgrounds in Logan at 10:00 p.m., and in Pickaway County's Village of Ashville at 10:00 p.m.
