A New Holland man is suspected of robbing his neighborhood bank.
The "Pickaway News Journal" says the New Holland Police Department responded to a call Thursday afternoon of a man wearing a bandana and sunglasses robbing the Milton Banking Company on Main Street.
Bank tellers told Chief Jason Lawless that they gave the suspect about 48-hundred dollars before he fled from the bank.
Based on information at the crime scene, Lawless caught up with the suspect a few minutes later around the corner on Church Street.
Police reports say 39-year-old Joshua Rea of New Holland was arrested at his Church Street home and is being held on robbery charges in the Pickaway County Jail.
