Circleville Council Passes Tax Budget

Tuesday evening, Circleville Council passed their tax budget, and noted the death of a volunteer.

Councilman Bob Bensonhaver mentioned the recent passing of Marie Ardrey.  He said she was an active volunteer in Circleville, especially in the African American Heritage Association.

Council also passed the almost $22.5 million "tax budget"...but Finance Chair Barry Keller said the hard work begins in the fall, when it has to be cut down to reality.

And Councilman Tom Spring said he hopes to have a public information session and tour of the Mill Street Everts gym sometime before August.  He hopes to see it developed into a city arts and recreation center.
