(Columbus, OH) -- Authorities are investigating the death of a man found shot in a truck on the Columbus South Side. Police say 44-year-old Bernardo Medina Gonzales was found dead in the driver's seat of a white pickup on Crown Avenue Saturday morning.
Gonzales was found with a bullet wound, and police say it does not appear to be self-inflicted.
And, Columbus Police are investigating a recent Hilltop death as a homicide. The "Columbus Dispatch" says 34-year-old Jessie Houser was found dead in the trunk of a Dodge Neon on South Wayne Avenue Friday morning.
Police are not commenting on the cause of death. It's the 68th homicide in Columbus so far this year.
