A motorcyclist was injured in a crash in Ross County Friday.
The Highway Patrol reported that just before 5pm, 54-year-old Carl Balo, of Newark was northbound on State Route 159 near Blackwater Road, on a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
He traveled left of center and struck a trailer being pulled southbound on 159 by a 2006 Ford F-350 driven by 52-year-old Roger W. Ross of Amanda.
Balo was conscious but in serious condition. He was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center by Green Township EMS, then flown to Grant Medical Center in Columbus. Green Township Fire Department and E.M.S. assisted with the incident.
Both Ross and his passenger claimed to not be injured.
